project x60 Coloured PPF is wet-apply and self-healing with a nano-ceramic coating. It is made using thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), with a colour layer added. So for that reason you will find it’s not quite as pliable as regular clear PPF. project x60 Coloured PPF is a low tack film and the adhesive achieves full adhesion after 48 hours. So while that offers many advantages, it is important to keep that in mind while working with the film. |

Tipsproject x60 Coloured PPF requires advanced installation techniques. It is highly recommended that our film is installed by an experienced professional. project x60 does not warranty damage caused by rough handling or improper installation of the product. TACK TIPS: Given the low tack of project x60 Coloured PPF, we recommend much less soap in your solution than regular clear PPF installation (just a couple drops or none at all). INLAY TIPS: If you find the ceramic coating is interfering with your ability to overlap the film, you can carefully heat the top of the layer you're looking to adhere to and "flash" the ceramic coating with a torch. This will encourage the two layers to stick! HANDLE WITH CARE: Given the construction of Coloured PPF, it is imperative that you handle with care. Be careful not to bend or kink the film, as well as overheating or overstretching. These actions will compromise the film or create imperfections. |
